Leida Snow covered the cultural life of New York as Theater Critic for WINS-AM. She reviewed and/or reported on theater for WABC-TV/NY and Variety, and her byline has been in The Washington Post, Newsday, Hollywood Reporter, and various theater magazines. Leida served as President of the theater critics’ association Drama Desk and produced and  hosted the Drama Desk Awards. Listeners may also remember her from ABC Radio/NY or WQXR-FM/NY. Leida’s “Falling Can Be Fatal” won the MORE Award from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). “Advice From the Cancer Wars” was flagged as one of the ten most read essays on PBS Next Avenue. Reports for ABC News during the Iran hostage crisis garnered an Armstrong Award, and “Roadblock to Learning,” a five-part series on Dyslexia for ABC News, took the Grand Award at the International Radio Festival of New York. As founder and president of LS Consultants, Leida provides executive coaching to elected officials, candidates for public office, and other professionals.
